Data Engineer - AWS Redshift Tableau

Role Overview

We are looking for experienced data professionals with strong expertise in data engineering, Amazon Redshift administration/data modelling, and Tableau. The role will be responsible for supporting and enhancing data pipelines, data warehouse operations, governance, data quality, and business dashboards.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and support day-to-day data pipelines and data loads.

Monitor and optimize Amazon Redshift performance and cost.

Design and maintain data models, tables, views, and related data warehouse objects.

Manage access, security, and data governance requirements.

Monitor data quality and troubleshoot production issues.

Build, enhance, and support Tableau dashboards and reports.

Support Tableau Cloud/Tableau Server administration and application activities.

Work with business stakeholders for requirement gathering and reporting needs.

Support system integrations, including authentication, authorisation, monitoring, scalability, and system design considerations.

Drive process improvements and provide ongoing production support.

Technical Skills

Tableau Cloud / Tableau Server administration and working application knowledge

SQL Amazon Redshift and PostgreSQL

AWS services – S3, Glue, AppFlow, Redshift, Lambda, etc.

Data warehousing and data modelling concepts

ETL, ELT, and data integration concepts

System integration concepts – authentication, authorisation, monitoring, system design, and scalability

Excel and business reporting
