Data Engineer (Azure + AWS)
Summary
Senior remote Data Engineer who designs, builds and automates ETL/ELT pipelines, Delta Lake medallion architectures, data governance and CI/CD on Azure and AWS to deliver analytics solutions for clients. Core stack includes Python, PySpark, SQL, Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric and AWS Glue, with required Azure/Databricks certifications.
We are hiring a Data Engineer to power scalable data intelligence through high-impact cloud architectures.
MISSION Plan, design, build and automate on-premise and cloud data architecture processes, working with ETL to enable the use of information for decision making. You will operate with technical autonomy building ETL/ELT pipelines, Medallion architectures on Delta Lake, data governance and CI/CD processes on Azure and AWS platforms, ensuring availability, quality and scalability of data in production. Your technical work directly impacts the availability, quality and traceability of the data behind our clients' analytical solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES

- Cloud data architecture and data modeling
- Data governance, data quality and Unity Catalog
- CI/CD, databases and operations
- Requirements gathering and multidisciplinary collaboration
- Client advisory and identification of opportunities
- Meeting performance and management indicators
- Supporting business development opportunities
TECH STACK Python, PySpark, SQL, Scala, NoSQL databases (Cosmos DB, MongoDB), Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Unity Catalog, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Functions, DevOps CI/CD, IaC (Bicep/Terraform), Azure networking, AWS (Glue, S3, Lambda), and ML/AI models on Azure ML or Databricks. Azure Architect Expert is a plus.

EDUCATION Professional degree in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics or related programs.
EXPERIENCE 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, with a background of 5-7 years in roles related to Data Engineer (senior level).
