Responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain data pipelines using Python, SQL, ETL/ELT and Azure technologies.
- Develop API integrations and scalable data solutions.
- Build reports and interactive dashboards using Power BI.
- Work with Azure Data Factory, Databricks and Azure DevOps.
- Support automation solutions using Power Automate and Power Apps.
- Implement CI/CD processes and GitHub workflows.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and delivery.
Qualifications & Experience
- Relevant Bachelor's degree.
- 3-5 years' experience in data engineering.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, Azure Data Factory, Databricks and Azure DevOps.
- Experience with Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, CI/CD and GitHub workflows.
- Strong API and ETL/ELT experience is essential
- Advantageous: C# development experience.
The Reference Number for this position is NG61560 which is a contract role in Johannesburg offering a salary of up to R500 per hour salary negotiable based on experience.
