Beyondsoft Singapore is hiring a Data Engineer to support business intelligence for SportSG: partnering with business stakeholders, building data models in Amazon Redshift/data lake, and maintaining Tableau dashboards on AWS services like S3, Glue, Lambda, and Kinesis. Requires 4+ years in data engineering plus strong SQL and Python or Scala.
The Data Engineer – Business Intelligence & Dashboards will be responsible for the following:
Stakeholder Engagement:
Partner with business units across SportSG to understand data and reporting needs
Translate business requirements into clear data specifications for the engineering team
Build data models in Amazon Redshift or the curated zone of the Data Lake
Design and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Tableau, connected via Redshift or S3
Apply data quality checks to support reliable business insights
Documentation:
Document data definitions and dashboard logic in the AWS Glue Data Catalogue
Qualifications:
Minimum 4 years in data engineering, data architecture, or cloud infrastructure
Hands on experience with core AWS data services (S3, Glue, Redshift, Lambda, Kinesis, Step Functions, Lake Formation)
Strong SQL and at least one scripting language (Python or Scala)
Experience with Data Lake or Lakehouse architectures
AWS Certified Data Engineer – Associate or Solutions Architect, or equivalent
Experience with Tableau, MLOps/SageMaker, Salesforce integration via AppFlow, or CDC patterns
Prior experience in a government or public sector data environment
