We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team, responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and ensuring data quality, reliability, and efficiency. The ideal candidate will work closely with data scientists and analysts to support data infrastructure and facilitate data-driven decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and manage data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Build and optimize data architectures and systems.
- Ensure data integrity, quality, and security across platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and strategies.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade data systems.
- Automate data collection, processing, and reporting workflows.
- Implement best practices for data governance and management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and ETL tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, Talend).
- Strong understanding of database systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Knowledge of big data tools (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
