Data Engineer | Big Data & Cloudera + English C1

About the role

Are you passionate about data engineering and do you want to participate in technological transformation projects in Big Data environments?

At Experis IT we are looking for a Data Engineer with at least 3 years of experience to participate in high-impact technological projects, working with Data Lake architectures, processing large volumes of information, and advanced data engineering solutions.

What you'll do

• Design and develop data pipelines in Data Lake environments.
• Implement ingestion, transformation, and data preparation processes.
• Design optimized data models and datasets.
• Optimize the performance and scalability of Big Data processes.
• Manage dependencies and orchestrate processing workflows.
• Participate in testing, deployment, and production launches.
• Document solutions following engineering best practices.

What we're looking for

• Experience: minimum 3 years in Data Engineering or Big Data.
• Databases: advanced SQL Server and SQL.
• Big Data Ecosystem: advanced Cloudera.
• Data architectures: Data Lake and data ingestion and transformation.
• Data engineering: pipelines and large-scale processing.
• Cloud Computing: experience in cloud environments.
• Integration: REST API, intermediate level.
• Languages: English C1 mandatory.

Nice to have

We will value knowledge in: Atoti/ActiveViam, microservices, Control-M, Jira, and Confluence.
