Data Engineer — Big Data & Databricks, Global Team

MSC Technology Italy is seeking a Data Engineer to join the EDMA Data Hub, a cross-functional team delivering an interconnected data platform for business users and products across domains. You will work in an international, collaborative environment in Torino, contributing to the company’s digitalization strategy.

The role focuses on building and optimizing data ingestion, transformation pipelines, and ensuring data quality while meeting SLAs.

Build data ingestion and transformation pipelines with performant design. Pipeline orchestration – scheduling, fault-tolerance, retry logic, monitoring/alerting. Ensure data quality and SLAs are met across pipelines. Experience with Databricks and medallion architecture is required. Willing to be on call outside office hours a few times a year for support purposes. Nice to have knowledge of Kafka and MS Fabric is a plus.
