Data Engineer
Summary
Design and operate data pipelines for a crypto exchange, connecting diverse sources to the warehouse, improving data quality, and setting up monitoring and incident response systems.
You will design and operate data collection, loading, and processing pipelines for company-wide data use. You will connect diverse source data to the data warehouse, detect and improve data quality issues, and establish monitoring, alerting, and incident-response systems for stable data platform operations.
Responsibilities
- Design and operate data collection, loading, and processing pipelines
- Connect diverse source data to the data warehouse
- Detect and improve data loading delays, omissions, duplicates, and consistency errors
- Establish monitoring and alerting systems for data platform operations
- Establish incident response systems
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience
- Experience directly designing, developing, and operating ETL pipelines
- Experience optimizing performance and responding to incidents in large-scale data environments
- Experience identifying and improving data consistency, quality, duplication, and omission issues
- Experience designing or operating monitoring, alerting, and reprocessing structures for data pipelines
- Experience with financial, fintech, trading, order, or settlement data
- Experience with Spark, Flink, Kafka, Kinesis, or MSK
- Experience operating Redshift, BigQuery, or Databricks
- Experience with Iceberg, Delta Lake, or Hudi
- Experience with data quality monitoring, metadata management, or data lineage
