Project Description
The project focuses on transforming and expanding an enterprise data platform. The Data Engineer will help build and scale a Snowflake-based platform and migrate existing Alteryx workflows into governed, production-ready data products. The initial phase focuses on Treasury and Finance, with additional business domains expected to follow.

What You'll Do
- Build and maintain data pipelines and data products in Snowflake;
- Develop data transformation logic using dbt;
- Support the migration of existing Alteryx workflows to the new data platform;
- Build and maintain orchestration workflows using Dagster or Airflow;
- Validate data outputs and investigate discrepancies;
- Troubleshoot issues related to business logic and data transformations;
- Implement data quality checks and monitoring;
- Collaborate closely with Data Engineering, BI, and Data Governance teams;
- Participate in technical design discussions;
- Use Cursor and LLM-based tools in the day-to-day engineering workflow;
Job Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, with strong hands-on experience with Snowflake;
- Practical experience with dbt;
- Experience with Dagster, Airflow, or comparable orchestration tools;
- Strong SQL and data modeling skills;
- Understanding of data quality and monitoring practices;
- Experience building and maintaining production data pipelines;
- Experience with AI-assisted development using Cursor or similar tools;
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher;
- Snowflake certification would be a plus;
- Availability for substantial overlap with US Central Time, especially from 2:00 PM CST onward, is a plus;
