Als Data Engineer bij DNB bouw en beheer je schaalbare dataplatformen en ETL-pipelines in Azure (Synapse/Databricks), automatiseer je CI/CD en IaC, en lever je betrouwbare data-inname, transformatie en ontsluiting voor statistische analyses en dataleveringen.

Role purpose: Design, build, and maintain reliable data pipelines and platforms that enable analytics, reporting, and data-driven products. - Develop and optimize ETL/ELT workflows to ingest, transform, and serve data at scale. - Model data for analytics and operational use cases (e.g., dimensional, normalized, or lakehouse patterns). - Ensure data quality through validation, monitoring, alerting, and automated testing. - Manage data storage and compute performance, cost, and scalability across environments. - Collaborate with analysts, data scientists, and software engineers to define data requirements and SLAs. - Implement governance practices including access controls, lineage, documentation, and compliance. - Support production operations: incident response, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement. - Strong SQL and experience building production-grade pipelines. - Proficiency in a programming language such as Python, Java, or Scala. - Experience with cloud data platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP). - Knowledge of orchestration and workflow tools (e.g., Airflow or similar). - Familiarity with data warehousing/lakehouse concepts and best practices. - Understanding of CI/CD, version control, and infrastructure-as-code concepts. - Ability to communicate clearly, document systems, and work cross-functionally.
