Data Engineer
Summary
Designs and maintains data pipelines, builds reports, and analyzes financial data using SQL, ETL tools, and visualization platforms like Power BI.
Required Skills
- 4–8 years of experience as a Data Analyst, Business Data Analyst, or similar role.
- Strong SQL skills for data extraction and analysis.
- Must have technical skills: Linux shell scripting, Abinitio ETL, Abinitio GDE, Oracle, SQL developer, PL/SQL, Netezza, Bigdata (Hadoop)
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI , Tableau , or Qlik Sense .
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query, Advanced Formulas).
- Knowledge of data modeling, ETL concepts, and data warehousing.
- Experience with Python or R for data analysis is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the Banking or Financial Services industry.
- Understanding of banking products, customer data, risk, compliance, or regulatory reporting.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Knowledge of cloud data platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP is an added advantage.
