Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain robust ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into our data warehouse. - Utilize Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as BigQuery and Dataflow to manage and analyze large datasets efficiently. - Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions. - Implement data modeling techniques to ensure data integrity and accessibility. - Write efficient SQL queries for data retrieval and manipulation. - Employ Python scripting for automation and data processing tasks. - Work in an Agile environment, participating in sprint planning and retrospectives. - Utilize version control systems like Git and CI/CD practices to streamline development workflows. - Monitor and optimize data pipelines for performance and reliability. Required Skills: - Proficiency in GCP data services, particularly BigQuery and Dataflow. - Strong experience with Python scripting and SQL. - Knowledge of ETL processes and data modeling techniques. - Familiarity with Agile methodologies and version control systems (Git). - Experience with CI/CD practices and tools. - Understanding of data orchestration tools like Airflow. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
