Data Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data infrastructure, ETL/ELT processes, and data models using SQL, Python, and tools like Informatica and Talend.
Responsibilities
The Data Management Technical role involves the technical implementation and maintenance of data management solutions This includes designing developing and supporting data infrastructure ensuring data integrity and optimizing data access The role also requires working closely with data management consultants to translate business requirements into technical specifications ResponsibilitiesDesign develop and maintain data models databases data warehouses data marts and data lakesDevelop and implement data integration and ETL processesDevelop and implement data integration solutions using ETL ELT tools and technologiesEnsure data quality through data profiling cleansing validation and standardizationOptimize data performance and scalabilityDevelop and maintain data models and metadataDevelop and maintain data quality processes and toolsSupport data analysis and reporting by providing data access and supportDevelop and maintain data pipelines and data feedsEnsure data compliance with relevant regulationsCollaborate with data analysts and scientists to support data-driven initiativesTroubleshoot data-related issues and provide technical solutionsMonitor and optimize data management systems performanceStay up-to-date with data management technologies and trends
Requirements
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related fieldProven experience in data management technical or related roles (at least 5 years till 20 years)Strong technical skills in database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL)Strong understanding of data management concepts, including data governance, data quality, metadata management, and data security and all other models as per DAMA standardsExperience with data integration and ETL/ELT tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend)Proficiency in data modeling and designKnowledge of data warehousing and data lake conceptsKnowledge of scripting languages (Python, SQL) for data manipulation and analysisUnderstanding of data quality concepts and toolsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAbility to work effectively with data analysts and business usersPossessing relevant certifications, such as CDP, CDMP, CDA, or CISA, is preferred
