Summary: The Data Engineer - Cloudera plays a crucial role in maintaining and supporting the Cloudera data platform to ensure optimal operation and data availability. The primary goal is to manage and enhance data pipelines while ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain the Cloudera data platform and pipelines.

• Track batch and real-time job executions.

• Resolve data pipeline failures through root cause analysis.

• Ensure data availability in line with defined SLAs.

• Handle incident and problem management.

• Optimize existing data processes with minor enhancements and fixes.

• Ensure data quality and manage security and access controls.

• Maintain operational documentation.

• Collaborate with infrastructure and governance teams for platform operations.

Must Haves:

• Proven experience with Cloudera data platforms.

• Strong knowledge of data pipeline management and execution tracking.

• Experience with root cause analysis for data failures.

• Familiarity with incident and problem management processes.
