Data Engineer
Summary
Design and develop ETL processes, data marts, and models using T-SQL, Python, and cloud tools like AWS and Snowflake to enhance data systems.
Join our client's innovative team as a Data Engineer to enhance their datasystems.
What you'll be doing:
- Help design and develop data processes and ETL procedures.
- Work with design and extension of data marts, meta data, and data models.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities.
- Ensure data warehouse architecture codes are maintained in a version control systems
You don't need to be ticking every single box above, this is amore of an intermediate levelrole (upper junior level welcome), the client is happy to bring people up to speed.
Skills and Experience:
- 4+ years in a Data Engineering type role
- T-SQL, ETL/ELT development, and Python scripting skills.
- Use data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau).
- Experience with Cloud environments like AWS (Azure or Google more than welcome).
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing deadlines.
- Experience with Snowflake, DBT, Prefect (Airflow), and Github Actions
