UST is hiring a Data Engineer (100% remote, only within Spain) to design and build scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for large-scale migrations of customer, financial and transactional data. Day-to-day involves source-to-target mapping, data quality and reconciliation controls, migration cutovers and secure AWS-based data handling using SQL, Python, Git and CI/CD.

We are looking for a Data Engineer with strong experience in data migrations, SQL, Python, ETL/ELT pipelines, and AWS , capable of delivering secure, high-quality, and fully reconciled data solutions. Experience with large-scale customer and financial data migrations is essential.
Location: 100% Remote only in Spain
Strong experience with SQL, Python, ETL/ELT pipelines and AWS for large-scale data migration projects.
Proven track record delivering enterprise migrations involving customer, financial and transactional data .
Hands-on experience with data quality, reconciliation, validation controls and migration auditability.
Knowledge of Git, CI/CD, automated testing and modern data engineering best practices.
Understanding of security, privacy, retention and access-control requirements for sensitive data.
Strong communication skills, English proficiency, and ability to work with business and technical stakeholders.
Design and build scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for data extraction, transformation, validation, loading and reconciliation.
Define source-to-target mappings and ensure data quality, consistency and integrity across migration processes.
Develop reconciliation frameworks and controls for customer, operational and financial data.
Support migration rehearsals, cutovers, defect resolution, performance tuning and restartable processing.
Implement secure data handling practices, monitoring, logging and operational support procedures.
Collaborate with analysts, SMEs and technical teams to resolve legacy-data issues and ensure successful delivery.
