Data Engineer Consultant

This is a great opportunity for a Data Engineer who wants more than a traditional in-house role.
You’ll join a fast-growing technology consultancy working across complex client environments, building modern data platforms and solving real business problems across cloud, data and emerging technology.
You’ll work across a mix of projects, technologies and industries, with strong support, plenty of learning and the opportunity to broaden your technical capability quickly.

What you’ll be doing

• Designing and building scalable data pipelines
• Working across modern cloud data platforms
• Solving complex client problems with practical, well-engineered solutions
• Collaborating with engineers, analysts, architects and platform teams
• Contributing across the full delivery lifecycle, from requirements through to implementation

What we’re looking for

• 2+ years’ experience in Data Engineering, Software Engineering or a closely related area
• Strong SQL and Python
• Exposure to Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery or similar modern data platforms
• Experience with AWS, Azure or GCP
• Git and modern engineering practices
• Strong problem-solving ability and genuine curiosity
• Excellent communication and the confidence to work directly with clients
• Consulting experience is highly regarded
• Relevant degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or similar
