Data Engineer (Contract)
Key Responsibilities:
Get requirement from users and Design data model, reports based on requirements
Develop ETL/ELT pipelines using Spark/PySpark, Python, and advanced SQL.
Implement scalable data ingestion, transformation, and loading processes.
Work with cloud data platforms across Azure and AWS.
Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across all systems by implementing validation rules, logging, and monitoring.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and follow best practices using Git.
Monitor ETL job performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
Maintain clear and detailed documentation of data pipelines and processes.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in Data Engineering or a similar role.
Strong Spark/PySpark, Python, Advanced SQL, Delta Lake, and Data Modelling skills.
Experience with Git and CI/CD.
Azure: Databricks, ADLS Gen2, Data Factory/Workflows.
AWS: S3, Glue, Glue Data Catalog, EMR/Athena/Databricks.
Experience with Aurora PostgreSQL, CDC, and high-TPS data processing is a plus.
