I'm partnering with a rapidly growing UK-based organisation who are investing heavily in their data capabilities and are looking to add a Data Engineer to the expanding technology team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Data Engineer who enjoys building t solutions, developing scalable pipelines and working closely with stakeholders to unlock the value of business data. You'll be joining a collaborative environment where you'll work alongside experienced technical professionals and have access to ongoing training and development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and maintain scalable systems for processing data
- Build and manage pipelines that convert raw data into actionable insights
- Strengthen and support data warehouse structures and ETL workflows
- Partner with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver effective data solutions
- Track and improve the performance and reliability of data systems
- Sustain and enhance integration between systems via APIs
- Uphold strong standards for data governance, security, and regulatory compliance
- Diagnose and fix issues related to data
- Create and maintain documentation for data processes, systems, and architecture
Skills & Experience:
- Background working as a Data Engineer or in a comparable position
- Solid SQL capabilities and strong command of Python
- Familiarity with data modelling, ETL workflows and data warehousing concepts
- Some experience working with cloud platforms
- Sharp problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail
- Strong communicator who collaborates well with others
