Data Engineer
Summary
Builds and maintains scalable data pipelines, ETL processes, and ML models in Python/SQL, then visualizes insights for stakeholders using tools like Power BI or Tableau.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design, build and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes
- Collect, clean and transform data from multiple sources for analysis
- Develop and deploy machine learning models to solve business problems
- Create dashboards and visualisations to communicate insights to stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions
- Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns and opportunities
- Optimise database performance and ensure data quality and integrity
- Document data architectures, models and analytical methodologies
- Support clients with data-driven decision making and strategy recommendations
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics or related field
- Proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation and analysis
- Experience with data visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau or similar)
- Understanding of machine learning algorithms and statistical modelling
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure)
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop, Airflow) is a plus
