About the role
We are looking for a Data Engineer – Data Warehouse with strong experience in ETL development using DataStage, SQL, Unix/Shell scripting, and enterprise database technologies. The ideal candidate will have experience working with DB2, Netezza, Snowflake, and Control-M, with exposure to DBT as an advantage.
Key responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and optimize enterprise ETL pipelines using IBM DataStage.
Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
Develop and maintain Unix and Shell scripts to support data processing workflows.
Work with databases such as DB2 and Netezza.
Schedule, monitor, and troubleshoot data workflows using Control-M.
Support data warehouse development, integration, and production processes.
Work with Snowflake for cloud-based data warehousing and data processing.
Troubleshoot ETL jobs, identify root causes, and implement solutions to ensure reliable data processing.
Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to deliver data solutions.
About you
Strong hands-on experience with IBM DataStage / ETL.
Proficiency in SQL.
Experience with Unix and Shell scripting.
Experience working with DB2 and/or Netezza databases.
Experience with Control-M or similar scheduling tools.
Experience with Snowflake.
Experience with DBT (nice-to-have).
Experience in data warehouse development and modernization (nice-to-have).
Experience in the Insurance industry (nice-to-have).
