Overview

We are looking for a Denodo Data Engineer with hands-on experience designing and supporting data virtualization solutions using Denovo. The ideal candidate will have strong data engineering skills, experience integrating Denovo with modern data platforms like Microsoft Fabric and AI, and the ability to deliver scalable, reusable data services for analytics and business consumption.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support virtual data views and data services using Denovo
• Build and optimize data integration solutions for analytics and reporting use cases
• Develop reusable semantic and logical data layers to support business consumption
• Work with SQL, data modeling, and data transformation concepts
• Integrate Denovo with data platforms, APIs, files, databases, and cloud services
• Support performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting
• Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions
• Document technical designs, data models, and implementation details
• Support testing, code reviews, deployment, and production support activities

Required Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Denovo
• Strong SQL skills and experience with data integration and transformation
• Experience with data virtualization and logical data modeling
• Good understanding of data warehousing and analytics concepts
• Experience working with structured and semi-structured data
• Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms and enterprise data ecosystems
• Experience using version control and CI/CD tools such as Git and Azure DevOps

Technologies, Platforms, and Tools

• Denovo Design Studio
• Microsoft Fabric (Nice to have)
• Experience connecting Denovo to enterprise source systems such as SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, and SQL databases
• Exposure to APIs, JSON, Parquet, and other data formats
• Familiarity with data governance, security, and access controls in Denovo
