Darwin Recruitment is seeking a Data Engineer (ETL Migration) for a FinTech client. This 2-month freelance engagement is remote across Europe, with 100% remote work.
You will migrate on-premise ETL workloads to a cloud platform, ensuring secure orchestration, scheduling, and logging in a regulated environment used for audit evidence. The ideal candidate has proven ETL migration experience, strong SQL, and familiarity with Airflow (dbt a plus), plus fluency in Italian.
Migrate on-prem ETL workloads to a cloud platform with proper orchestration and logging. Ensure documentation supports audit evidence and regulatory compliance. Experience migrating on-premise ETL workloads to a cloud platform. Proficient in workflow orchestration with Airflow. Strong SQL skills and query optimization. Security-conscious with logging and monitoring practices. Fluent Italian language required. Nice to have: compliance-driven environments and audit documentation experience.
