Data Engineer

Key responsibilities

• Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources including databases, APIs, and log files

• Implement data quality checks and monitoring systems to ensure data accuracy and consistency

• Develop and maintain data models and data warehouse

• Collaborate with Business Analysts to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications

• Analyze and modify data platform systems for error correction, maintenance and development

• Maintain system quality considering user-friendliness, user experience, speed performance, and system reliability

• Conduct testing on development and maintenance outputs

• Develop and maintain software in accordance with company objectives and user requirements

• Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture for data integration using ETL tools such as SSIS, Pentaho, or Talend

• Build data ingestion workflows for data warehouse, data mart, and operational data store

About you

• Minimum S1 education from Information Technology, Informatics Engineering, Computer Science, or Information System with minimum GPA 3.00

• Ability to understand and analyze complex systems

• Algorithm and analysis capabilities for decision-making and problem solving

• Analysis capability to identify root causes from strategic, business, and system perspectives

• Good teamwork capability and integrity with attention to detail

• Good interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

• Open-minded, critical, dynamic and proactive thinking

• Minimum 4 years experience working as Data Engineer in developing, maintaining and managing RDBMS including script creation, stored procedures, and SQL Query

• Experience creating and maintaining optimal data pipeline architecture for data integration using ETL tools such as SSIS, Pentaho, or Talend

• Knowledge and experience in data warehouse, data marts, operational data store, and master data management
