We are currently looking for Data Engineer to join our team.

What You'll Do

As a Data Engineer, you will:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines that transform data from enterprise systems into reliable, analytics-ready datasets.
• Build, optimize, and support enterprise data platforms, including data warehouses, data marts, and lakehouse architectures to enable business intelligence and AI initiatives.
• Develop and maintain data models, transformation logic, and curated datasets that ensure accuracy, consistency, and high data quality.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, business analysts, and application teams to understand data requirements and deliver trusted data solutions.
• Enable dashboards, reports, and advanced analytics by preparing semantic models, KPI‑ready datasets, and optimized data structures.
• Integrate data from multiple enterprise applications, APIs, and external sources while ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines, resolving issues to ensure timely and uninterrupted data availability.
• Apply data governance, security, and best practices, including access controls, secure integrations, metadata management, and data quality standards.
• Produce technical documentation for data pipelines, data models, and integration processes to support maintainability and knowledge sharing.
• Stay current with emerging data engineering technologies and recommend continuous improvements that enhance ETON's Data & AI capabilities.

What You'll Bring

To thrive in this role, you'll bring the following qualifications, skills, and experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least 2–4 years of experience in Data Engineering, ETL/ELT development, Business Intelligence, or enterprise data integration.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and hands‑on experience developing data pipelines and transformation processes.
• Experience with enterprise data warehouses, data lakes, lakehouse architectures, and data modeling concepts.
• Knowledge of APIs, data integration techniques, and cloud‑based data platforms is highly preferred.
• Experience supporting business intelligence, reporting, analytics, or data visualization solutions.
• Understanding of data governance, data quality, security, and metadata management best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex data issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, Power BI, SAP data environments, Microsoft Fabric, or similar enterprise data platforms is an advantage.
