About the roleWe’re looking for a
Data Engineer
to scale our Data Team and enhance our data platform and integration processes. Your mission is to ensure data is reliable, accessible, and efficiently transformed to support analytics and decision-making across the business.
What you’ll doBuild and maintain scalable data pipelines to extract, transform, and integrate data from multiple sources into our cloud data warehouse.Ensure data infrastructure is reliable, performant, and maintainable.Collaborate with Analytics Engineers and Data Analysts to deliver the right data for dashboards, reporting, and models.Support data modelling best practices and contribute to architecture decisions.Use data to investigate and resolve product or process issues.Suggest improvements to data security, quality, and efficiency.Promote a healthy data culture across the organisation.
What you need3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, Analytics Engineer, or Big Data Engineer.Expert-level
SQL skills
and experience optimising queries.Hands-on experience with
cloud platforms, ideally
Snowflake, and knowledge of AWS services.Experience building
data pipelines with Python
and integrating data from multiple sources, including APIs and databases.Comfortable designing scalable architectures for multiple users.Excellent English communication skills.Strong instinct for automation and efficiency.
Bonus points forExperience with
Redshift, BigQuery, Hadoop, or other distributed systemsWorkflow orchestration experience ( Airflow )Experience with
dbtExperience with
streaming/queue systems
such as Kafka or SNSWeb analytics or event-based analytics experience
