Software & Data Engineer – UK-Based – Permanent
We’re working with a well-funded startup building a smart, AI-driven platform.
They're scaling fast and need a versatile Software & Data Engineer to help build and optimise core systems from the ground up.
This is a full-time remote role, but you’re welcome in the office!
You’ll be working on:
- Building clean, scalable Python code
- Backend systems and API integrations
- ELT pipelines and third-party data ingestion
- PostgreSQL, vector search, and structured data support for AI/LLM features
- Storage/query performance tuning
What you’ll bring:
- Strong Python and backend development skills
- Experience with relational + NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL / DynamoDB)
- Solid understanding of REST APIs and schema-driven design
- Bonus: experience or interest in LLMs / AI / vector stores
