Data Engineer

We are currently seeking a skilled Data (ETL) Engineer to support data integration, transformation, and analytics initiatives.

The successful candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Teradata technologies, ETL development, data warehousing, and SQL. This role will involve building and maintaining reliable data pipelines, optimizing database performance, validating data quality, and troubleshooting data-related issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes and data integration solutions
• Extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources into Teradata environments
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries
• Support and maintain data warehouse solutions
• Perform data validation and ensure data accuracy and consistency
• Troubleshoot ETL, database, and data-quality issues
• Identify opportunities to improve ETL performance and overall data-processing efficiency
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to understand data requirements
• Support analytics and reporting initiatives by ensuring reliable and accessible data

Required Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience with Teradata
• Strong experience in:
• ETL development and data integration
• Data warehousing concepts and methodologies
• SQL and database performance optimization
• Data validation and troubleshooting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently as well as within a collaborative technical team

Language Requirements

• German: B2–C1 level – mandatory
• Good working proficiency in English
