UWV is a public service provider supporting a society in which as many people as possible can participate. Its Gegevensdiensten division collects and manages data on employment, benefits, labor relations, and target groups, while promoting reliable data reuse and reducing duplicate data requests.

Задачи:

• Help shape the Advanced Analytics team from its foundation;
• Turn raw data into valuable and predictive insights together with internal partners;
• Bring technology, people, and strategy together into one data-driven whole;
• Build solutions with business stakeholders, data analysts, and data scientists;
• Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to identify patterns and trends;
• Develop and optimize process models and machine learning models for predictive analytics, process simulation, and recommendation systems;
• Present insights to stakeholders through dashboards or reports;
• Collaborate with IT, marketing, and product development teams to implement data-driven solutions;
• Explore new technologies and methods to strengthen the data strategy;
• Help shape UWV’s data analytics vision;
• Help establish an organization-wide advanced analytics service;
• Develop a roadmap toward a mature service with business partners and stakeholders.

Требования:

• Extensive experience as a data engineer;
• Knowledge of advanced analytics platforms, process mining, and simulation;
• Understanding of data models, ETL/ELT processes, data lakes, and data warehouses;
• Experience with cloud platforms;
• Experience with data patterns and system integrations;
• Ability to ensure privacy, security, and compliance in a data-driven environment;
• Interest in Decision Intelligence and reasoning systems, with willingness to develop further in these areas;
• Proactive and curious approach;
• Ability to provide direction, advise, and persuade through communication;
• Customer-oriented behavior and ability to encourage others to improve customer service;
• Ability to act as a subject-matter resource and contribute to complex projects;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly to non-technical audiences;
• Dutch at minimum C1 level for conversation, reading, and writing;
• Nice to have: experience with Azure, PowerBI, DataIKU, Celonis, Anylogic.

Условия:

• Salary of € 5880–€ 7647 gross for a 38-hour workweek, scale 11;
• 200 Hours of annual leave for full-time employment;
• 8% Annual holiday allowance paid in May;
• 8.33% Year-end bonus paid in December;
• Car commuting expenses reimbursed after declaration;
• € 0.19 Net per kilometer for car travel and €0.23 per kilometer for cycling or walking;
• Free public transport for commuting with a Reisbalans card;
• €3 Net home-working allowance per home-working day;
• €30 Net per month toward a home internet subscription;
• Laptop and mobile phone provided for use;
• Temporary 12-month employment contract with a 2-month probation period, for 32–38 hours per week;
• Assessment may be part of the selection procedure;

• A Certificate of Conduct (VOG), original diplomas, and an oath of office are required upon appointment.
