Data engineer (French speaking) with HN Services Portugal, supporting an international retail company's data team. Day-to-day: designing data models, building reliable scalable pipelines, and applying dbt best practices; Power BI is a plus. Candidates must already be based in Portugal.
We are supporting an international fast-growing retail company building a strong data-driven culture focused on impact, pragmatism, and continuous improvement.
The team is looking for someone able to transform business needs into concrete and efficient data solutions without overengineering.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain robust data models
- Collaborate with product and business teams to simplify requirements
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the data platform
- Build reliable and scalable data pipelines
- Support a business-oriented and impact-driven data approach
- DBT (modeling, testing, best practices)
- Power BI or equivalent is a plus
Nice to have
- DevOps / Data Architecture knowledge
- Experience in scale-up or retail environments
- Candidates must already be based in Portugal
