Summary

Designs and maintains GCP BigQuery pipelines and data models to deliver clean, analysis-ready datasets for customer profiling and personalization, working closely with analytics and Martech teams.

You will work closely with business, analytics, and Martech teams to enable reliable, relevant, and consumption-ready data that supports customer profiling, segmentation, and personalization use cases. The role emphasizes data modeling, pipeline optimization, and ensuring data relevance for downstream activation and insights.

Top Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Design and manage data pipelines and ETL workflows between GCP BigQuery and AEP, ensuring reliable data ingestion and transformation.
  2. Build and maintain BigQuery tables, datasets, and data models, ensuring high data availability and optimized query performance.
  3. Enable data readiness and relevance by transforming raw data into structured, analysis-ready datasets for CDP and analytics use cases.
  4. Monitor and improve data quality, pipeline performance, and governance, troubleshooting issues and ensuring consistency across systems.

Expectations (Experience, Client Interaction & Communication)

  1. 5–6 years of experience in data engineering with strong expertise in GCP BigQuery, SQL, ETL/ELT pipelines, and cloud data architecture.
  2. Experience working with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) or CDP ecosystems, including data ingestion, XDM schema concepts, and customer data modeling.
  3. Strong client interaction skills—ability to understand data requirements, translate business needs into technical solutions, and drive alignment across stakeholders.
  4. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams (data, Martech, analytics, business) and clearly articulate data insights and issues.
