We're partnering with an innovative organisation that is investing heavily in its Data & AI capabilities and is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to support the development of a modern cloud-based data platform.
This role will play a key part in designing, building, and optimising scalable data solutions that enable advanced analytics, reporting, and AI initiatives across the business.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable data pipelines using Azure technologies
- Build and maintain Data Lake and Data Warehouse solutions
- Develop ETL/ELT processes to integrate data from multiple sources
- Work closely with Data Science, Analytics, and business stakeholders
- Improve data quality, governance, and platform performance
- Support the evolution of the organisation's data architecture
- Contribute to best practices across engineering and data management
Required Experience
- Strong experience as a Data Engineer in enterprise environments
- Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks, or similar technologies
- Strong SQL and data modelling expertise
- Experience building Data Warehouse solutions
- Experience working within cloud environments (Azure preferred)
- Ability to work independently and engage with stakeholders
Nice to Have
- Experience with IoT or high-volume data environments
- Exposure to Power BI
- Knowledge of Kimball Data Modelling
