Data Engineer

Responsibilities :

- Pipeline Development : Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using tools like MSSQL, Python, Apache Airflow.

- Automation of Manual Excel Reports : Automation of current Excel based Manual reports to Automated Even Driven Report using SQL/Python/RPA tool.

- Data Modeling & Warehousing : Design efficient databases, schemas, and data models (Star/Snowflake schema).

- Query Optimization : Perform SQL query tuning and optimize data pipelines for improved performance and efficiency.

- Troubleshooting any issues that arise in the data flow and processing stages.

- Using software development best practices like code review, continuous integration, and continuous delivery (CI/CD), release management, and version control.

Technical Skills :

- Data analysis, data modelling and database management.

- Data warehousing framework & structures.

- Structured Query Language (SQL) to extract, transform, load (ETL) and extract, load, transform (ELT) tools, MSSQL, SSIS, SSRS.

- Coding languages : Python or R.

- Preferred : QlikSense or other BI software.

Qualification :

- Engineering from Tier1/Tier2 engineering colleges; BSC and MSC candidates with good academic performance can also apply.

Experience :

- 0 - 4 years. Freshers are welcome to apply.
