Data Engineer
Summary
Junior Data Engineer building and maintaining data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Cloud Functions) for an EMEA-wide data platform. Day to day: developing pipelines with a Medallion (Bronze–Silver–Gold) architecture, optimizing SQL, automating workflows with Python, and contributing to CI/CD and Git-based workflows.
We are looking for an ambitious Junior Data Engineer to join our data team building a modern data platform across EMEA on Google Cloud Platform.
In this role, you will support data processing and integration pipelines, contribute to data transformation workflows, and collaborate with other team members to build and maintain data solutions following the Medallion architecture (Bronze–Silver–Gold) approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain data pipelines in GCP (BigQuery, Cloud Functions)
- Work with Medallion architecture (Bronze–Silver–Gold)
- Optimize SQL queries and automate workflows with Python
- Contribute to CI/CD processes and code versioning (Git)

Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in data engineering or analytics projects
- Strong SQL skills and basic Python knowledge
- Familiarity with GCP tools (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions)
- Polish tax residency (required)
- Curiosity, ownership, and willingness to learn
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with dbt or similar data transformation tools
- Experience with Git repository and basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines
- Understanding of data quality and monitoring concepts
