Data Engineer
Summary
Fully on-site Data Engineer at Hexegic building and maintaining data pipelines, end-to-end data projects and user-facing applications for customers in a military setting. Core work is Python-based with API data integration and pipeline scheduling; requires an active DV security clearance. Salary £50,000-£70,000 plus a £5,000 annual development budget.
Please note that this is a fully on site role, and candidates for this role are required to hold an active DV security clearance.
Hexegic are looking for technically minded data and software engineers to work on an intriguing and exciting project, building and maintaining data pipelines and platforms for our customers in a military setting. Core Responsibilities
- Liaise closely with stakeholders, including data scientists, analysts and product owners
- Developing user facing applications
- Data pipelines building for the creation of simple and bespoke data pipelines
- Design, develop and maintain end-to-end data projects
What we are looking for
- Strong python proficiency, or familiarity with similar languages
- API awareness for data retrieval and integration into processing pipelines
- Experience of stakeholder management and requirements capture
- Understanding of pipeline scheduling and health checks
