Responsibilities
- Own the full lifecycle of the product/platform from ideation to release
- Develop and maintain the product roadmap aligned with business objectives
- Translate business requirements into detailed product specifications and user stories
- Work closely with engineering teams to build and enhance the platform
- Define and prioritize the product backlog
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality tech solutions
- Act as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders (CEO, COO, engineering, sales) and development teams
- Gather and prioritize feature requests and feedback from users or clients
- Run and manage the product independently with minimal oversight
- Make strategic and tactical decisions to drive product growth and performance
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure solutions are feasible and scalable
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing technology products
- Proven ability to independently run and own a product with minimal oversight
- Strong understanding of product lifecycle, backlog management, and roadmap development
- Experience building or managing tech platforms
- Background in Engineering and/or Computer Science (preferred but not essential)
- Experience working in or with companies that build their own technology products
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Analytical mindset with ability to use data to drive decisions
- Agile/Scrum methodology experience
- Experience with Salesforce is a strong advantage
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup-like environment
- Must be able to work from the office in Johannesburg (hybrid may be considered)
