Do you want to design elegant pipelines and data systems that power real-world decisions? **We’d love to meet you.** We actively encourage applications from non-males and other underrepresented groups. **Permanent position — no contractors** ## **What Hivemind Does** #### We build and operate production systems under real constraints—where reliability, security, and continuity matter. **Our Focus:** * Data Engineering — real-time data platforms & pipelines * AI Systems — production-grade intelligent systems * Cloud Native Platforms — scalable, reliable infrastructure * Secure Infrastructure — security and resilience by design ## **Your Profile** **What you'll do** * Designing and building distributed data systems * Writing code that your peers praise for its elegance and readability * Creating and improving infrastructure and processes that fit our clients needs * Thinking holistically: Constantly evaluating our work and internal processes **You bring** * In-depth knowledge of at least one big data processing framework (preferably Spark) * Knowledge of ETL principles * Experience with SQL and concepts of Data Lake Houses * Familiar with Medaillon Architecture concepts * Experience with Kafka or similar streaming architectures * Experience with Open Table formats such as Delta, Iceberg or Paimon * Experience with Data Processing with Flink or Spark * Experience with at least one of the following: Scala or Python * Experience with cloud computing and serverless paradigms * Experience with building data processing pipelines and complex workflows * Experience with ML, generative AI and MLOps * Knowledge of Unix-like operating systems * Have knowledge of current trends in software design, architecture and web services **How you work** * Systems thinker, clear communicator * Like to work in a small and dynamic team * Low-ego, collaborative mindset * Fluent in English * Based in EU/EEA/U.K. (±3h CET) * You value kindness, respect, and work-life balance #### **WHY US?** Hivemind is fully independent and owned by its directors.
