Role Summary
The Data Engineer (Migration) will be responsible for data transformation and orchestration activities, creating ETL/ELT pipelines from on-premises and cloud sources into Data Lakes and Enterprise Data Warehouses (EDW). The role requires working with structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data while ensuring data quality, consistency, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities- Understand data models and database structures.
- Create ODI ETL jobs for data replication from source systems to EDW.
- Perform data transformations using ODI ETL and Oracle PL/SQL.
- Develop SQL queries, procedures, and functions for data extraction and processing.
- Deliver assigned tasks within agreed timelines.
- Ensure quality and accuracy of data delivery.
- Work with structured, semi-structured, and unstructured datasets.
- Support replication across multiple heterogeneous data sources.
- Ensure 100% data consistency and integrity.
- Strong experience with ODI 12C.
- Hands-on experience in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
- Experience in Data Transformation and Orchestration.
- Experience creating ETL/ELT pipelines and data integration workflows.
- Knowledge of AWS/Azure cloud environments is an advantage.
- Understanding of S3 Buckets, Azure Blob Storage, and cloud data structures.
- Experience working with multiple database platforms.
- Strong understanding of Dimensional Data Modeling (Facts Dimensions).
- Ability to ensure data quality, consistency, and governance.
- Any Graduate or higher qualification.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts (BA) to understand business requirements.
- Coordinate with delivery and development teams for successful implementation.
