Data Engineer (HYBRID)
Summary
On a 3-month contract, this data engineer designs, builds, and maintains ETL/ELT data pipelines and infrastructure using AWS microservices (Glue, Lambda, Redshift, Kinesis, Airflow) and/or Talend Studio, working across warehouses and lakes in a hybrid setup: 3 days onsite in Muntinlupa, 2 days remote.
Job Description
Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of data pipelines and infrastructure using AWS Microservices and/or Talend Studio.
Work with data from multiple resources, including data warehouses and lakes.
Troubleshoot and maintain ETL/ELT processes, ensuring data accuracy.
Collaborate with teams for data-related needs, security protocols, and insights.
Contribute to data engineering improvements and processes documentation.
Qualifications
ETL/Integration tools: 2 to 5 years experience with Talend and/or AWS data engineering services.
Talent Requirement: Talend Experience is preferred but not mandatory; Strong AWS-native data engineering is acceptable.
AWS Services Exposure: Experience with services such as AWS Glue, Lambda, S3, Redshift, EMR, RDS, Step functions, Kinesis, and MWAA/Airflow.
Programming & Query Languages: Proficiency in SQL, Python, Spark, and Java.
Data Platform Experience: Experience working with S3-based Lakehouse architectures, RDS, and Enterprise Data Warehouse environments.
Contract Duration: 3 months
Work Arrangement: Hybrid setup (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
