Data Engineer

Role Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to join our growing team at iCareManager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and infrastructure to support our data-driven initiatives. This role will play a key part in enabling analytics, reporting, and AI-driven solutions within the healthcare domain.
Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable data pipelines
Build and optimize ETL/ELT processes for structured and unstructured data
Develop and manage data warehouses and data lakes
Ensure data quality, integrity, and availability across systems
Collaborate with product, engineering, and analytics teams to understand data requirements
Integrate data from multiple sources (APIs, databases, third-party systems)
Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues and performance bottlenecks
Implement data security and compliance best practices
Support reporting, analytics, and machine learning use cases
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
1–3 years of experience in data engineering or a similar role
Strong experience with SQL and database design (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar)
Experience with data pipeline tools (e.g., Airflow, Apache Kafka, etc.)
Proficiency in Python (or similar programming languages)
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Understanding of data warehousing concepts and architectures
Familiarity with REST APIs and data integration techniques
Experience in healthcare or health-tech domain
Exposure to big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop)
Knowledge of data modeling techniques
Experience supporting AI/ML workflows
Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
