Data Engineer II (Remote US)
Summary
Builds and maintains data pipelines, models, and infrastructure using SQLMesh, BigQuery, and Python to support revenue reporting, creator payouts, and analytics for a creator-focused media platform.
- Build and maintain data models in SQLMesh
- Build pipeline support for new revenue streams
- Define alert thresholds and emit metrics and logs
- Develop orchestration and transformation infrastructure
- Extend pipelines for creator payouts and GAAP revenue reporting
- Improve observability to detect failures early
- Improve query performance in BigQuery
- Maintain ingestion platform and product analytics infrastructure
- Modernize legacy pipelines in Python and SQLMesh
- Participate in on call incident triage and resolution
- Produce dashboards and support closed loop escalation
- Reduce compute costs in BigQuery
- Run data validation testing and monitoring before closing tickets
