Data Engineer III, Data Engineering India

Amazon Inc. in Italy is seeking a Data Engineer-III to develop data solutions that enhance customer experience by improving discoverability and speed. You will collaborate with researchers, software engineers, and business leaders to build scalable data systems that impact profitability.

The role requires tackling large, ambiguous problems, rapid prototyping, and cross-team collaboration to deliver robust data solutions and operational excellence.

Design, implement and support data infrastructure for analytics at scale. Build AI-native data solutions for business requirements. Extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources using Redshift SQL, Spark SQL and AWS tools. Optimize data pipelines and develop Python-based automations. Drive domain knowledge and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver robust data solutions. 5+ years of data engineering experience. Experience with data modeling and ETL. Proficient in SQL and at least one scripting language (Python/Java/Scala/NodeJS).
