Data engineer in hospitality

As our Data Engineer, you'll bring together data from across our hotels, guest experiences, memberships and business operations, turning scattered information into something reliable, useful and ready to make an impact. Working with Microsoft Fabric, PySpark and Azure, you'll build the pipelines and data models that power smarter decisions across the business.

Задачи:

• Build and maintain data pipelines that bring information from our hotels, CRM, finance, feedback tools and other systems into Microsoft Fabric.
• Transform and clean large datasets using PySpark, Python and SQL, making data reliable and easy to work with.
• Create well-structured data models that power business reporting and analytics.
• Connect new data sources through APIs, cloud storage and Azure services.
• Manage development across Dev, Test and Production environments using Git and Azure DevOps.
• Set up monitoring and alerts to spot pipeline failures and data quality issues before they become bigger problems.
• Work with analysts and AI teams to make curated data available through Power BI and Fabric Apps.
• Troubleshoot production issues, document your work and keep improving how we build and manage data pipelines.

Требования:

• You have at least 4 years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering or a related data platform role.
• You bring strong hands-on skills in SQL and Python, plus experience with PySpark and Delta Lake or similar technologies.
• You have experience with Microsoft Fabric, Databricks or another Spark-based cloud data platform.
• You understand lakehouse architecture, bronze/silver/gold data layers, data modelling and ETL/ELT pipelines.
• You have experience with APIs, Git-based workflows and CI/CD, ideally within Azure DevOps.
• You can work independently, solve technical problems and explain complex topics clearly to both technical and non-technical colleagues.
• You bring an ownership mindset, an interest in AI and automation, and a good understanding of data privacy and GDPR.
