Build and maintain ETL pipelines and data platforms for insurance analytics using AWS Glue, Spark, and Python, ensuring data quality and regulatory compliance.

How you will get the job done

developing and maintaining ETL processes to integrate data from diverse sources, including market data feeds, customer information systems, and transactional databases
ensuring data quality, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements
collaborating with business owners, data analysts and scientists, software engineers, and DevOps specialists to support the development of predictive models and business intelligence tools
optimizing data processing workflows for performance, scalability, and reliability
working in Agile/Scrum teams to deliver high-quality applications on schedule

Skills and experience you will need

fluency in English
min. of 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer or Cloud Engineer
proficiency with Python
AWS Cloud, focusing on Glue Job, Glue Catalogs, Lake Formation, Athena, Step Functions, SageMaker
experience with Data Mesh
experience with Spark
experience in collaborating with various stakeholders
experience in working in an Agile environment (e.g. Scrum)
very good interpersonal skills

Nice to have

experience with AWS Data & AI services
experience with Azure Cloud
knowledge of AI/ML tools
