Responsibilities
  • Support and monitor the data lake lifecycle, fix errors, and extend functionality
  • Assist ingestion of external data to enable seamless internal/external data integration
  • Independently manage code repositories, documentation, and cross‑team workflows
  • Communicate data formats and transformations with consumers and data providers
  • Build knowledge of trading and asset management space through hands‑on work
  • Contribute to data quality, reliability, and performance in a trading environment
Key requirements
  • 2:1 degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry from a Red Brick UK or EU university
  • Python
  • Matlab
  • PostgreSQL
  • Bloomberg
  • Trading or investment management experience
  • Understanding of OOP, threading, concurrency and distributed systems
  • Effective communication with stakeholders
