Job Description ADF Developer
Location: Bangalore
Role: Azure Data Factory (ADF) Developer
We are looking for an experienced ADF Developer with strong expertise in Azure data engineering and building scalable data integration solutions. The candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting data pipelines using Azure Data Factory.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- Build data integration workflows across multiple data sources and target systems.
- Develop and optimize ADF pipelines, datasets, linked services, triggers, and data flows.
- Work with Azure services such as ADLS, Azure Synapse, Azure SQL, and Databricks, as applicable.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
- Monitor pipelines, troubleshoot failures, and resolve production/support issues.
- Implement data-quality checks, error handling, logging, and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with business, application, and data teams to understand integration requirements.
- Follow development standards, documentation, deployment, and change-management processes.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- Good knowledge of ETL/ELT and data integration concepts.
- Strong proficiency in SQL.
- Experience with Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) and Azure cloud services.
- Experience developing and troubleshooting data pipelines.
- Understanding of data warehousing and data modeling concepts.
- Knowledge of Azure Synapse, Databricks, PySpark, or Python is an advantage.
Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting production data pipelines and resolving incidents.
- Knowledge of CI/CD and Azure DevOps.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
