Data Engineer (Java_Spring_Maven_SQL_DevOps_Linux_24X7)
Summary
Data Engineer supporting a wealth management client: maintaining a master data management (MDM) system, ETL processes, and real-time data pipelines. Core stack is Java (Spring, Maven) with strong SQL on Postgres/Oracle, plus 24x7 on-call support; DevOps, Linux, Control-M, and AWS knowledge are pluses.
Maltem Singapore is currently seeking a Data Engineer for our Wealth management Domain Client.
Summary:
The successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining master data management (MDM) system, ETL processes, and data pipelines to ensure that data is accurately maintained and efficiently published to downstream on a real-time basis.
Must Have:
- Possess a degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or related fields.
- Good SQL skill in Postgres/Oracle RDBMS.
- Good hands-on software development skill with experience in multiple data related projects in Java (Spring, Maven).
- Possess positive learning and collaborative mindset.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- 24x7 on call support and able to work on planned activities during the weekends/public holidays as and when required.
Good to have:
- Familiar with DevOps tools, CICD cycle, and GitHub.
- Experience in BMC Control-M.
- Experience in Linux environment.
- Some background in AWS technologies will be advantageous.
- Previous experience in the financial or investment industry is an added advantage
