Build and maintain ETL pipelines and data storage systems in AWS to power a B2B e-commerce platform serving Pakistani SMEs.
Jugnu is a B2B e-commerce platform, on a mission to digitize and empower small and medium-sized retail stores in Pakistan with a convenient, reliable & easy to use platform for ordering and getting deliveries within a 24hr window. Our vision is to directly impact and uplift SMEs in Pakistan.
Job Description
Location: Lahore, Pakistan
- Workclosely with the BI, Product Development and Business Development teams todeliver on data needs.
- PerformETL process; design,develop and maintains data storage systems
- Identifyand address gaps in existing data architecture framework, logs and processes
- Designand build data solutions that support company data strategy in driving businessinsights
- Builddata assets in AWS and align the data architecture based on businessrequirements working towards a common data model
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months of experience in a Data Engineering or similar role
- Shouldbe proficient in building data pipelines/ETL/ELT scripts
- Shouldhave experience using programming languages such as Python, PHP, Scala, SQL, orMySQL
- Musthave experience using rest API, web request/protocol and cloud platforms such asAmazon Redshift or Google Cloud Platform
- Shouldbe well-versed in data modeling, interface designing, code development, andtesting
- Shouldbe familiar with workflow management engines such as Apache Airflow/ArgoWorkflows
- Musthave experience and knowledge of BI tools preferably Tableau
- Priorexposure in optimizing data pipeline is a plus
