Summary
K-LAGAN is hiring a Data Engineer in Barcelona (hybrid) to design, build, and maintain data pipelines and Data Lake/Warehouse architectures, delivering analysis-ready datasets to Data Scientists and Analysts. Core stack: Python, SQL, Big Data frameworks, Azure/AWS, orchestration tools, Snowflake/BigQuery, Docker/Kubernetes, and Power BI/Tableau.
As a Data Engineer at K-LAGAN, you will design, build, and maintain data pipelines that deliver reliable, clean, and timely data to decision-makers. You’ll work within the IT team to shape data architectures (Data Lakes/Warehouses) and collaborate with Data Scientists and Analysts to supply analysis-ready datasets. You will apply DataOps and CI/CD practices to data environments, contributing to business and people development while aligning with the company strategy. This role offers impact through scalable data solutions in an international, growth-focused environment.

- Design, develop, and maintain data architectures (Data Lakes and Data Warehouses)
- Build complex ETL processes for ingestion and transformation from multiple sources
- Optimize query performance and ensure data integrity
- Collaborate with Data Scientists and Analysts to provide analysis-ready datasets
- Implement DataOps and CI/CD best practices for data environments
- 4 years+ experience as a Data Engineer or similar roles
- Advanced Python proficiency and expert SQL
- Experience with Big Data frameworks
- Cloud experience (Azure, AWS)
- Experience with orchestration tools
- Knowledge of Snowflake or BigQuery
- Experience with containers (Docker/Kubernetes) and Git
- Strong data visualization skills (Power BI or Tableau) and experience with large datasets
- High English level (C1)
