Data Engineer

What you'll do

We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our data team as a Data Champion. You will be responsible for leading the development and maintenance of data loads, shaping information modeling, and ensuring maximum quality in key business areas.

And the best part: you will do it collaborating side by side with other kairoseros who will accompany you day to day.

• Data Pipeline Development: You will design, build, and optimize robust and scalable data pipelines to support business needs.
• Information Modeling: You will define and structure efficient data models that guarantee decision-making based on reliable information.
• Quality Assurance: You will monitor information quality in specific business areas, identifying improvements and ensuring data integrity.
• Data Loading and Maintenance: Responsible for the continuous maintenance and smooth execution of loading processes.
• Data Champion Role: You will provide your technical vision and knowledge to raise the data standard within the project and serve as a reference within the team.

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years of experience working as a Data Engineer or in data development and engineering positions.
• Demonstrable track record in the design and deployment of high-impact data solutions.

Technical Proficiency (Must-have)

• Data pipeline development: extensive experience building analytical and operational data flows.
• Big Data Ecosystem: technical mastery in Scala and Spark for large-scale processing.
• Orchestration and Querying: solid practical knowledge with Airflow and SQL.
• Cloud Environment: solid knowledge of architecture and infrastructure in AWS.

Nice-to-have

• Python: experience or fluency working with Python in data projects.
